The Economic Development Review Committee (EDRC) advises the Superior City Council on LB840 funds for local economic growth and business support. The EDRC reviews and recommends funding loans for small businesses, devises incentive programs, and contributes to various economic development issues that utilize the taxpayer funds.

The seven-member committee meets monthly with Economic Development Director, Mary Scroggins, at the 213 Business Center, typically on the third Thursday at 7:30 pm. Meetings are open to the public. The city administrator and mayor usually attend.  

Our committee represents a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversees that the funds utilized directly affect those in need.
